The thing is as i've explained to Michael in email that i downloaded the standalone plugin from the 2.0.2d update and authorized it BUT I STILL NEED THE INSTALLER WHICH ALLOWS ME TO INSTALL THE LIBRARY CD'S A-H and still he just keeps asking me questions of which i've already answered.

Please let me know if I can assist you with anything else on this issue.ĮVEN THOUGH I ALREADY SENT TWO EMAILS HOURS BEFORE EXPLAINING IN DETAIL MY PROBLEM, seems like he wanted to get home early before friday night and not even reply to my emails. "I'm showing that you got an authorization yesterday, were you able to get Omnisphere working OK?
#Omnisphere 2 manual pro
Ok for about 6 days now i have been talking with spectrasonics customer service about trying to install omnisphere 2 and they seem absolutely CLUELESS as to my issue & even ignoring my emails! anyway the problem is that the installer to install the omnisphere steam libraries in disc a-h has a installer that you run and you put in one disc after the other, i even bought a seperate SSD and OWC MOUNT PRO sled for my 5,1 mac pro just to do this, anyway in the instructions it asks you to follow a link on disc a to the installer and login but every time i log in on google chrome & safari it just goes to a blank white page and nothing downloads & on firefox i just get this: Gyazo - eeada80b6116a607003312abb8577cf8.pngĪnd the weird thing is that when i'm already logged in it will just say incorrect username and password even though i can see at the top that IM ALREADY LOGGED IN, but the customer service person just keeps asking me questions and even yesterday asked me:

The question still begs though, why put some kind of pseudo-authentication process in which you have to login to get some “secret link” to a GENERIC binary, Michael did say that they was working on just getting a straight up link on the user account page to the CD installer (just like you can do with updates), whether that’s true or not I cannot confirm.įrom my brief playing around with the plugin my initial impression is positive & the granular engine is probably one of the most nicest sounding I have used on a software plugin, I did have some problems with CPU especially when you have multiple sound sources running two separate granular engines together but it seems to be stable (running on 2048 buffer, which is the highest you can go), I can always freeze tracks if its using too much. The problem does appear to be a anomaly from what i can see & Michael said they have never experienced this problem so. So Michael ended up calling me yesterday & we went through the process on the phone & I still got a blank white screen, they are contacting their server tech as to what might be causing the issue & i can finally say now MY issue is resolved as he's sent me a link for the libraries download free of charge, I did have a problem when I ran the step 2 data installer and it told me to “insert omnisphere” but then I ran it again and it worked.
